Weeks Reads: Dragonfly Prophecy by Jacquelyn Castle I was just as lost as Lexi at the beginning and was wondering did she hear voices in her head, something paranormal or what. We soon got an answer and then more issues to resolve. Poor Lexi was stuck between two worlds. I was rooting for her to stay with her Aunt and Chase. Her parents had each other but her aunt only had her. And William- she just described him as too perfect. I never like the perfect male love interests. Also there is always the CG affects that take away from the story- not done the best because most of what I read is fantasy and not realistically possible. I have seen all the Harry Potter movies and thought they did a good job of portraying the books (even if I...

Kiss of Fire by Rebecca Ethington Fun, action-packed read. This book does not slow down once the pace picks up. The beginning is sweet and you fall for Ryland immediately. He is just so caring (but I really prefer Ilyan). You get the feeling that he knows more than he lets on, but also guys are just like that- don’t speak much. When things start to change and the action get going, be prepared to not want to set the book down! You have to find out what happens next…… really fun book and greatly recommended. Eyes of Ember by Rebecca Ethington I just had to go onto the second book...
